In the extended interview with Chairman Carey, she responds to questions about contract negotiations with Hartmann… the reasons the previous county manager Cynthia Coto vacated the position… whether or not it’s a struggle to be a woman or of a race other than white to be in a leadership position in Seminole county government… and whether or not Chairman Carey would ever consider being a county manager

In the extended interview with new county manager James Hartmann you may hear his description of the interview process, the due diligence he undertook to assess the status of the county and the position and whether or not he spoke with Cynthia Coto – the former county manager. And similar to the question put to Carey, we asked Hartmann if after his retirement he’d ever consider standing for election as a county commissioner.
