Thanks for such a loving tribute to a great lady.
We got to know Mrs. Evans through the Oviedo Methodist Church and she was always the most gracious and generous person to us “young folks” as we came to know Oviedo. The Evans Family is a remarkable clan with always the best interest of the community at heart.
We send our sympathies to David and all the family.
Dick, you did a wonderful thing in this tribute. Thank you.

Dr. Adicks did a wonderful job briefly describing Clara Lee Evans life. Clara will be remembered by many from the Oviedo & surrounding communities as a person with compasion, of strong faith in God, and recognized the importance of education. Her legacy to our community will be long lasting. As the Historical Society dedicated the Lawton House as the new home for the organization, Clara Lee braved the very warm day but obviously would not have missed it for any reason. She shared stories with everyone and you felt as if you took a step back in time with her clarity of the events.
The memorial service was a celebration of a life that was meaningful and surely pleasing to God. Thank you Dr. Adicks for taking the time to complete this audio recording.

Wes and I just want to thank Dr. Adicks for his wonderful commentary on our Mother. She was indeed a special lady and a great role model for her children and grandchildren. I feel her influence will be felt by many for years to come. It is heartwarming to hear Dr. Adicks commentary and to be reminded that Mama was loved by so many.
Mrs. Evans was a beautiful Southern woman with grace and charm. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy to her family and community in which she was devoted to.
Thank you Dr. Adicks for capturing the essence of her life in the short video clip. Mrs. Evans was well loved and will be forever remembered by family, friends, and community!
Thank you Dick for giving this tribute to a wonderful lady that was truly a pillar of the Oviedo Community. She represented Oviedo with grace and dignity and her love for this City was noted by the way she lived her life and related to all young and old alike. She will be missed but not forgotten. We miss you and Mildred and wish you the best of everything in Lakeland. God bless you both! Ingrid
I had the privilege of working for this fine lady and her family for 23 years. They inspired me and I believe that they always did what was best for the community. Thanks to everyone who made this tribute possible.
