Jim Spaeth serves as President of Remora Partners and has been described as a visionary, civic entrepreneur, scientist, market analyst, and change agent. His extensive experience in real estate, finance, and economic development enables him to offer strategic guidance regarding the innovation economy and its impact on his clients.

Spaeth was the founding Chairman of the UCF Community Council and currently serves on the Boards of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Metro Orlando American Heart Association, and the Citrus Club. He has been extensively involved with the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and was co-author of its East Orlando Visioning Study, leading to the creation of the Innovation Way concept. For his efforts, Spaeth was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as Orlando’s Top Male 40 Under 40 recipient in 2008. Spaeth earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science and business from the University of Florida.
