One of the four candidates will be elected by Seminole County voters on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. The candidate elected by voters will replace retiring Judge Donald L. Marblestone on taking office in January 2013.
Candidate remarks were made to an audience of 40 members of the League of Women Voters of Seminole County Florida at the Thursday, July 26, 2012 monthly luncheon held at the Patio Grill in Sanford, Florida as part of the league’s Hot Topics Luncheon facilitated by League president, Jeanne Morris. A fourth candidate, Gregory A. Hass was unable to attend due to a last minute conflict.
County court judges earn $134,280 annually, and are not term limited, though at 70 years of age, there are certain term restrictions that apply. Six county court judges serve Seminole County.
