David Albertson, President, Albertson International, Inc. was graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Economics. He has been involved in agribusiness as a citrus grower, a full-scale citrus processor, and partner in a large fresh fruit packing operation. His activities include real estate developments and venture capital investments.
He has maintained a longstanding civic commitment to Central Florida. He has previously served on the boards of the Orlando Science Center and is past Chairman of WMFE TV/Radio. He is also past Chairman of the Florida Symphony Orchestra, and has served on the Board of the American Friends of the Hebrew University as well as the Oceanographic Institute in Haifa, Israel. Albertson was a Founder of the Orlando Magic NBA Franchise, and served on the Executive Committee of the General Partnership until 1984 when it was sold. He presently serves as President of the University of Central Florida Athletics Association. |
